My Consumption is a user-friendly app enabling you to share details on your consumption and usage behavior through short surveys. This is an invite-only diary for which we outsource panel recruitment, management, and communication efforts to invite users to participate in the My Consumption surveys.

Circana’s 'My Consumption' App Privacy Policy

Circana (“We”) is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and secure mobile applications and online experience.

This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through Circana’s 'My Consumption' app (the “App”).

Access to this App is limited to panelists of The National Consumer Panel (NCP). NCP is a joint venture company, partially owned by Circana. NCP is responsible for the management, recruitment, and communication with those invited to participate in this App.

Collection of your Personal Information

We collect information about you from our partner, NCP. From NCP, we receive demographic information (including your gender and date of birth) you have shared with NCP. Circana receives information directly from you when you respond to our surveys through this App. Circana does not collect personally identifiable information, such as your name or address. We will never ask you this information. When NCP provides demographic information about you, your name is replaced with an identification number.

The App may also automatically collect your IP address, browser type, and access times. This information is used by Circana for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the 'My Consumption' mobile application.

Use of your Personal Information

We use the information you and NCP provide us to deliver aggregated information to our clients. We will not share your information with any client or third party unless we are required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to defend our rights or someone’s personal safety.

Changes to this Statement

Circana will occasionally update this Statement of Privacy to reflect company and customer feedback. Circana encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how Circana is protecting your information.

Your Rights

Because we don’t collect your personally identifiable information, we suggest you exercise any privacy rights through NCP, who will then pass this to us (as well as any other partners it works with).
